Callian's Dream and so many others are still trying to cope with the tragic loss of Lynette, our wonderful stellar keyboard player/vocalist/writer spirit sister and friend..
I had thought with all prayers and chants and meditations and spiritual energy expanded it would only be a short matter of time before their recovery began and the rehabilitation could start and they would rejoin us soon..
It was probably already too late by then.. the damage from the smoke inhalation had done too much harm already by the time they got to the hospital..
I wrote a poem for Lynette and Joey last Sunday, the day before we heard the news we didn't want to hear.. I won't say I think Lynette likes it, I think I can say I know Lynette likes it..

You've been like a sister to me
We shared the dreams, schemes, visions to be
When I was sad you would comfort my soul
Bring a smile thru the tears with stories you told
Your eyes so bright- understanding and warm
In a world of music, chants, spirits reborn
Long beautiful ebony hair flowing down
Rock n roll, country and blues to be found
Nam myoho renge kyo you taught us to say
Ancient words for tomorrow and yesterday
Prayers and chants of many faiths join as one
For you precious Leenie Bird and Joey son
Perhaps now you can't hear the words and songs
But your newest creation will not be long
You are The Rose In The desert - The Power Within
